Beginning Requirements

The client wanted a Salesforce environment to manage classes, schedule courses, and also bookings for the Skill Training Group website. The calendar feature will be dynamic and interactive where the user will be able to manage all training courses, and schedule courses according to the centre and trainer.

Solutions

  • Joining InstructionsThe client wanted to send Joining Instructions to his users without adding sessions and appliances specifically for MLP-type courses. So we have removed the validation for entering sessions and appliances.
  • Course SchedulingThe client wanted the functionality to book multiple courses at the same time to speed up the process. He wanted to add ‘Invigilator’ and ‘Assessor’ as non-mandatory options, as some courses have trainers, invigilators, and assessors. He also wanted to add rooms to the centers. To solve this, We have added ‘Invigilator’ and ‘Assessor’ new lookup fields as non-mandatory options and made the trainer field non mandatory. We have added a picklist field in the room object with options.
